One thing all GoG (Glass on Glass) mosaic artists need, is light. To the artist, it is essential to be immersed in copious amounts of natural light. The reason is that unlike most linear surfaces, stained glass has deep, variegated and refractive properties that are often hidden under artificial or low-level light conditions. These subtleties can be immense when exposed to actual sunlight and can be essential in color composition over the entire palette on a work of art. Once viewed under the full effects of our star, certain glass will only then give up its hidden treasure to those with a keen eye.
