Recognition of ones work from such a gifted artist as you buoys my soul. I am sitting in front of my keys right now trying to find the spark to finish a piece - you just provided that. Thank you, Michael.
Thank you for the wonderful compliment! Music has the power to evoke the most wonderful memories, and being with family or friends at a fond time and place are among my favorites too. Bringing a bit of happiness to others is a mission complete!
My goodness, that is some high praise, thank you! I used to buy all their albums back in the day. They did 'season' themes too and influenced me a lot. Back in the 70's, a really cool Portland, OR. FM station called KMHD broke ground on new artists and had a format of beautiful, easy listening, cool jazz, and evening 'space' themes. They were really awesome until it sold out in the 80's to identity politics. Twenty years later the internet would turn terrestrial radio into a mere grocery store PA system annoyance.
Claire, you are the best and your comment just made my day! For some reason I messed up when I published it and it didn't get much reach, but for those who have listened they seem to like it a lot. This song was the 'surprise' I wrote about last week, so I'm so very happy it resonated with you. A great deal of work goes into getting those rich string tones from that old keyboard and it takes a good ear to notice, you did! Now on to work before my head swells so big I can't get out the door. :-O
Wow! Thank you, Paul, that is wonderful to hear! And many thanks for the restack too. I'm delighted. It is truly amazing we are able to do this, I read your captivating words and study your eye-popping pictures, and you can hear music from across this vast globe. What a time to be alive.
Beautiful.

You are more than welcome, glad to hear it, Dave.

This puts me right back on the shores or Lake Michigan with my family. Really beautiful music Dave.
Honey, your Summer Twilight composition is lovely! It’s something I’ll play over and over!
This is beautiful and relaxing Dave. You should be recording for Wyndham Hill Records

A gorgeous composition that evokes a peaceful evening, textured and painted with each musical note. Thank you for sharing your work!

I was hopeful you meant a musical interlude and was pleased to *hear* I was right!
