Thank you Rose, that's my favorite. I try to create as original a song as I know how. Most music is written using the same chord progressions and phrases used in the past, but there are still areas left udiscovered and I try to explore those avenues. I recenly acquired a Kurzweil full polyphonic, weighted key synth anf the learning curve is brutal for a feeble-minded oldster such as I. However, in case you did not read this, everything was composed and "played" using only my old laptop and I did akmost no dubbing using stolen song samples. although I did grab some public domain NASA audio from the 1960's Apolo mission.
My favorite musicians? I've never been much od a rock n roller, Todd Rundgren is among the top of my list, the rest are Alan Parsons, Pat Methney/Lyle Mays and too man to list.
As far as musical tastes go, I'm not sure, but I believe that I'm several decades older than you and live in the US where the bands I mention are very well known. Todd goes back to the late 60's, Alan Parsons from the mid 70's and Metheney/Mayes made a big splash in the 80's.. You should chek them out sometime.
Well, I'm not sure of the problem, but if you want a copy, just give me a link where I can send it and it's yours to use in your artistic endeavor. I'll work on ways to make it easier to access my materials, even my website doesn't have a decent way to share files. You can also try this, all my stuff is on Mixcloud, that's in your backyard! Try this one:
"Music is constantly in my head - always"
You mean, The Voices actually sing to you?
HAW HAW HAW
BAHAHAHA... Very snarky, my friend. and I love it.
