So you went to The Henge! I'm jealous. And all I got is some wonky Stonehenge image generated by rubbing two Neurolink chips together?

I really like the OWL!

I have a lovely active charm at my window.

Post pic when you finish dutch door.

My 'Dad Joke' was a little opaque. I said I returned from "setting the time back at Stonehenge" meaning in the US we just went through this idiotic ritual of adjusting our clocks to 'Daylight Savings Time" every year by moving our clocks back one hour, thus I was implying that I had to move the giant rocks to adjust time at Stonehenge - I know its a lame joke.

Also, since the image was AI generated, instead of the saying "rubbing two brain cells together", I was rubbing to Neurolink chips together because a bot did the thinking, so yeah, another lame joke, but hey at least there is no paywall.

The Owl is another one of Kathie's great pieces, I'll tell her you paid her a compliment!

Active charm, is it that something moving about on solar power?

You bet I'll post pictures of the door, it's pretty neat and I'll want to show it off, thank you for the kind words, it always brightens my day when someone comments, I really appreciate it.

HA HA! That "time change/gain an hour lose an hour psy-op" is so wacky, huh? I always think that when everyone is messing around w their clocks Saturn, Time Lord, is ROFL, I mean if he has a flr.

No, Stonehenge does not know anythg abt "one hour adjust" and also laughs w Lord Saturn at idjits adjusting time!

Watch what u say abt Neurochips, someone might call Elon.

Speaking of Elon, I got locked out of X again. It's annoying but I think it's a badge of honor that I wrote somethg that tripped out the algorth. It's my sarc that's just not understood by algorth. Elon punish me. Ouch.

So my comment was obtuse: "active charm" was bc you wrote that crowd of hummers is A CHARM. They love feeder in my window. They are CHARMING.

I am thinking about what sort of piece I wd like you to make for me w Reiki symbol on it. I'll let you know.

Have a creative day.

It’s hard not to be critical of your work. After all it’s the result of the your accumulation of skill, creative eye and discipline. I was watching someone today describe the Genius / Failure rollercoaster that many go through. We all have the peaks and lulls when things work wonderfully and when things seem to be a train wreck. But that is mainly the pressure we put on ourselves.

Thank you for the comment, I sincerely appreciate it. The single greatest problem that gnaws on me, the most cringe thing I can imagine myself doing, is to overestimate the work I've done. For example, I'm not am accomplished musician but I love music. When I was down with a lengthy illness, I wrote a few tunes on a computer. In my estimation they're not very listenable as they were all made entirely on an old laptop. I was developing ideas so a few others could add their own tracks and we could make something for when I got a real instrument. Well, much to my surprise, a lot of people liked them as is. HUH? The only one I'm even somewhat happy with is the latest I posted as I finally did get an actual keyboard which I'm in the process of learning. When my skills improve, I hope to put out some cool stuff expounding on the earlier material. But people would think I'm a fool if they had the impression I was attempting to pass myself off as some sort of a musician. I always picture the Wojak meme: muzicc

The other phobia that I'm starting to thaw on is writing. I am NOT a writer, no training, I barely passed High School and only started Substack to showcase the art. Again, surprise surprise some people like what I write and tell me it is good. I do not hold a candle to the serious people on this platform such as yourself, but it is gratifying when a story is restacked or I get a new sub. I'm way in the basement compared to others so I just plod along. I get a thrill when someone takes the time to reply, as you have.

My woodwork and glass enclosures I know is high end and do not shy away, I want all the exposure I can get.

I think you write well - my mom always said “Favor ability over pedigree”. Too many people rely on credentials and not substance.
